WEDNESDAY

. . . . . . Not a whole lot going on today, I did go by the Post Office and since I was so close I stopped by City Hall to say hello to the ladies and wish them a merry Christmas. ChiChi and I drove by the Teigen’s but no one was home. It was only 11:30 by the time we got back to the house and after lunch I did some reading and fell asleep until 3:30. No need to mention that all of this was done with light rain falling. I was able to spot a patch of blue sky at one time this afternoon, that is always nice to see. Rare, but still nice. http://celford52.wordpress.com/ http://www.youtube.com/celford52 http://cliffordaelford.blogspot.com/

  1. Sorry we weren't home. We took a day trip to Portland to return the rental that Beaverton Toyota gave us to drive while they checked over the report that Longview Toyota gave us. We had been told to have the differential fluid replaced in the RAV4 (at our cost). We questioned not only the report that there were foreign objects in the fluid but also why it would be there. The vehicle is still under warranty at 15,000 miles. Not only did Beaverton Toyota drain and examined the fluid but also sent it to their specialists to make sure they did not miss something. At an estimate of 85.00 from Longview Toyota, red flags went up with the Beaverton Toyota Manager and he quickly made a phone call to the Longview Dealerships manager. The feeling we got is some person in the repair department is making out fake work orders. The reason we got that impression was from the raised eyebrow of several supervisors at Beaverton Toyota when they couldn't find the same work order in the Toyota Network as the one we had in hand that had been given to us by Longview. We will drive to Beaverton Toyota for our warranty inspections from now on.
