SATURDAY

Another three hours at the fishing hole again today. No fish but the book is coming along fine. I lost three sinkers and one of my new lures today. There is something out there in that river that grabs  hold of my sinker and refuses to let go. I have lost enough lead in that river to poison the water supply downstream for at least one hundred years. I think I'll start using 6 ounce rocks wrapped in wash cloths for sinkers, sure would cost a lot less.

  1. Wouldn't washers tied on your line cost less to lose than sinkers?

    1. Four ounce lead sinkers cost $1.25 each.
How much would four ounces of washers cast?
